Quick start
Everything you need to know to get going in 30 seconds.
01Install Doogree
Download the installer for your operating system from the top of the homepage. The installer is small (~12 MB) and finishes in a few seconds. The same app works as both the "controlled" and the "controller" side — you don't have to pick.
02Share your device number and password
When you open Doogree, the left panel shows two things:
- A nine-digit device number (stays the same per install)
- A six-digit one-time password (rotates each time you open the app)
Send them to the person who is going to help you. WhatsApp, email, SMS — anything works.
03Take control of someone's screen
On the right panel, type the device number and password they sent you, then hit Connect. Within a few seconds you'll see their screen and be able to take over.
04Unattended access (advanced)
If you want technicians you trust to be able to connect any time without you sharing a fresh password each session, enable Unattended access and choose a permanent password. They'll need to know it to connect.
05Common questions
Is my screen recorded? No. The traffic flows directly between the two computers (peer-to-peer). The Cloudflare server only helps the two sides find each other — it never sees the screen or the keystrokes.
Does it work behind a corporate firewall? Usually yes. If the direct connection fails, we fall back to Cloudflare's TURN relay (encrypted, blind to the content).
Is it free? Yes, for personal and small-business use. We'll publish details on commercial use as the product matures.
